When we were given the opportunity to brand the festival of one of the most decorated tamburitza orchestra in the world, it was clear the task wouldn't be easy. Tamburitza history research surfaced perfect name for it: “Tamburatorij”, and this is the story behind its creation.

“Tamburatorij” is a Croatian word that refers to all the tamburitza instruments in one orchestra, collectively. Not any other instrument, just tamburitza, all of them, together. It's a rare word. So rare that many young tamburitza musicians today have never even heard it, let alone used it. Which showed as the right name for this festival. While “Samoborski” means that the tamburatory festival is held in Samobor, Croatia.

Logo was formed around playfull composition the traditional body shape of the instrument and the pick.
